The Eagles penned a song many years ago titled taking it easy: It started out with the words, "Well I was running down the road" Which is what I was doing today on the old Highway 65 (G Street). It was barricaded off for a parade and I was able to run for a full three quarters of a mile down what was once a very busy stretch of road. It was a little weird but very cool. The best part was becoming part of the parade as I Ran through Old town Lincoln. Does this scene look familiar?
