Half Marathon Day

Worked 13.1 hours today. Tina and I started day at 5 AM and finished after 6:30 PM. Only five more days to go in the rural count.

Rural Count Weeks

Setting: Workroom floor - Lincoln PO

Today marks the end of the first week of a two week rural count. 12 to 14 hours a day for the last six days. We are looking forward to our day off tomorrow. Look closely and you will see Tina inputting the collected data into a computer.

Circa 2004. Walter Winnie and Howard at a dog park in Lincoln. For many years they entertained us with spectacular frisbee catches. Sure miss those good times. Now Walter and I just walked to the end of the block and back and get into easy chairs and fall asleep.
