Benchmark Bench

I have been looking for a wooden bench to refinish for several months now. Tina has been scouring craigslist But with little success. One night while visiting my sister-in-law at her apartment complex we happened upon this beautiful old weathered wooden bench sitting next to a dumpster. All the pieces are in place and it is structurally sound. I am going to break the bench down piece by piece, Sand stain, refinish and rebuild it back to its original beauty. I am excited to get started on the project and of course there will be a YouTube video.

Flower Power

During Tuna's installation as postmaster of Lincoln someone gave her a plant. It immediately started to die under our care, so I planted it outside as a last ditch effort to save it. The results have been spectacular.

Jessica & Jessica

Today we celebrated Jessie and J's arrival of the twins by hosting a baby shower. Family and friends joined us in the celebration. Today's picture of the day is of our Jessie with her long time childhood friend Jessica. They grew up together in our old neighborhood. Now both are preparing to due to give birth at almost the same time.
